Ever wonder how astronauts and cosmonauts feel in Space? Now you can experience it yourself in a real Zero-G training jet, floating free! Few humans have ever floated in weightlessness. It’s a really unique and exhilarating experience, we know, we’ve done it! You will come home with the story of a lifetime and photos and a video of your experience to prove it. WildWings have been offering Zero-G flights in the UK since 1998, the flights operating from Star City just outside Moscow. Our second location for the general public to experience weightlessness has proved popular too, USA in a specially adapted Boeing 727 aircraft. Both now feature Lunar and Martian Gravity as well as full Zero-G. (The Russian experience offers less people in a far larger aircraft, much more room to do your thing in Zero-G .)
“The Zero-G Experience’ was ten times better than I expected. I highly recommend it for those who want to experience a sub-orbital space flight. It was really amazing, unbelievably cool!”
Burt Rutan, Designer of SpaceShipOne
You are now invited to experience Zero-Gravity in the United States. We apply the highest standards of safety, our FAA approved activity offers everyone the chance to enjoy the fun and exhilarating dream of weightlessness, which is how astronauts have been trained by NASA for 40 years and how Tom Hanks floated in the movie ‘Apollo 13’. During our U.S. Weightless Flights you can experience what it’s like to walk on Mars and the Moon and of course to be fully weightless like you are when flying in Space.
Have you ever wondered what it is like to walk on the Moon? Or Mars? Each USA Zero Gravity Flight programme has intervals of Moon and Martian gravity. You’ll feel like you are stepping into history as you experience what moonwalkers Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin felt during their pioneering lunar mission. And you will get a glimpse into the future when you see what it is like to walk on Mars, before the first human has even set foot on the Red Planet.
The Zero-G Experience is a day-long programme in which you will be inspired by hearing first hand what space is like and about the uses of Weightless Flight direct from a veteran astronaut. You will also learn how to maximise your time in zero gravity and officially become Weightless Certified.
The aircraft is a specially adapted Boeing 727 based for most missions in Florida with many departures from Cape Kennedy itself, however the aircraft will also be operating from other U.S. airports including Las Vegas .

Russia
The special aircraft is based at Star City, just outside Moscow, Russia’s training centre for it’s cosmonauts. The specially trained pilots will fly in a series of parabolas, each giving the aircraft’s occupants up to 30 seconds of Zero-G at a time (a bungy jump ‘lasts’ 6 seconds….) After your amazing flight, lunch, you will be able to take a walking tour of some of the training facilities. You may get to see men and women preparing for up coming space flights!
‘Board the IL76 MDK and you will also be introduced to your trainers, who are there to assist you throughout your flight. They will help you become accustomed to weightlessness and doing acrobatics in the air. Make yourself comfortable on the padded floor of the aircraft. The aircraft seems to taxi around forever and takes even longer to get airbourne, the engines screaming as she finally kisses the sky and lifts off. From above 25,000’ the big jet starts its first power climb at 45 degrees skywards. Everyone is down on the floor facing forwards and upwards, kneeling. As the climb continues an invisible force starts to push down on your back, 2Gs as the aircraft nears its peak. Then the aircraft goes over the top into a 45 degree dive, an alarm sounds, the spots comes on, flooding the interior with light………you suddenly notice your legs are no longer under you but next to you, by the time the thought has registered you are nearly upside down and floating free in the air…..an incredible sense of elation rushes through your head as you smile, whoop and cheer.....you’re weightless! The alarm sounds again 10 seconds before the end of the session so you can all start heading back to the floor before gravity returns. As the aircraft pulls back up for it’s next climb, 2Gs return pushing you back down. This is the only way to experience extended Zero-G without leaving the Earth. You will enjoy up to a further 11 sessions of weightlessness during your flight so plenty of time for different activities. I have flown like Superman, you can too……..’ JBG
