SUB ORBITAL SPACE FLIGHT

The first generation of commercial passenger spacecraft will offer sub-orbital space flights.  The development of low-cost privately-funded spacecraft is currently underway worldwide, and ticketed rides should commence in the 2009–2010 timeframe.  The first tourists to fly to space altitude aboard our aerospace partner’s sub-orbital vehicles will be Space Adventure’s clients… and they are making their reservations today!

Join them now and you will be in the countdown for the next era of human spaceflight.

A detailed four-day flight preparation and training program will precede all of Space Adventures’ sub-orbital space flights. This highly focused and inspiring pre-flight experience will familiarize you with the flight programme, critical vehicle systems, flight operations, zero gravity conditions, in-flight accelerations, and spaceflight safety procedures.

Then, on launch day, with the same anticipation and excitement that astronauts and cosmonauts have experienced since 1961, our flight specialists will help you don your pressure suit and guide you through the final checklist.

3...2...1...Liftoff!

In an unprecedented sensory experience, rocket motors will boost you beyond the normal limits of conventional flight to regions above 62 miles/100 kilometers, the altitude at which outer space begins.

By joining our sub-orbital space flight program now, you will be among the first civilians to experience a flight into space. Travel beyond the Earth’s atmosphere, experience several minutes of weightlessness and see the most spectacular view ever. Nearly 200 passengers have already made their commitment to travel with us into space to date. We would be honoured to place you on this truly exclusive and growing list and ensure you are among the first to experience the most anticipated travel adventure of the 21st Century.

ORBITAL SPACE FLIGHT

Imagine, now, you can fly to the International Space Station without having to be a career astronaut or cosmonaut. Explore, leave gravity behind and immerse yourself in the mission. Experience, the ultimate journey. Achieve, more than you ever thought possible. The ultimate adventure is now within your reach. Become the first British private citizen to make space history. Space Adventures has worked since August 1999 with the Russian Space Agency, RSC Energia, and the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre to develop private flights to the ISS. View the Earth from 250 miles above, seeing many sunrises and sunsets as you hurtle round at thousands of miles per hour. If you have the determination, resources, and can meet the medical requirements you are invited to join this very elite group of space explorers. Your Soyuz-FG rocket will blast you into orbit within 10 minutes of lift off and your capsule will circle the Earth many times during your two day journey to dock with the ISS. You will then join the station for further 8 days or so in orbit, living, eating and sleeping in true Zero-G. Subject to negotiation you may wish to conduct your own experiments, conduct live links to friends back on Earth or simply enjoy the incredible views through the windows, taking your own photographs and video. Within a day of undocking, your capsule will land safely back on the steppes of Kazakhstan (after traveling over 3 million miles, approx 120 orbits), your Astronaut Wings truly earned, the memories lasting you the rest of your life.

Price approx £13million    Deposit £2 million    Non-refundable Orbital Pre-Qualification Programme £150,000  Next available flight date 2008 or later.

Another world travel first is now on offer, a 90 minute Spacewalk option for Orbital Space Flight clients. An extra month’s training will be required for this totally unique experience, an entire Earth orbit spent on the outside of the ISS in an Orlan-M spacesuit with an astronaut partner. Watch dawn and dusk as you will have 360-degree visibility as you float above the planet. Subject to negotiation you may even conduct your own experiments, take photos or just simply try and soak in the one of the ultimate views in the universe!! Supplement £7million.

 The Moon :

DSE-Alpha, the first in a series of lunar missions to be featured in Space Adventures’ Deep Space Expeditions programme, is made possible through the company’s long-standing partnership with the Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation (FSA) and the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia (RSC Energia).  The mission will utilize the robust Soyuz spacecraft, piloted by a Russian cosmonaut, and could launch by 2010.  Two commercial seats are available priced at £50 million each.  Before the mission is flown, the required research and development, spacecraft modifications, as well as, the required manned and unmanned test flights will have been completed.
