Indian Ocean Whale & Dolphin Watching The Maldives, Sri Lanka and now Indonesia NEW!
Chas and Sue Anderson have been finalising their programmes for 2014 and beyond. Their ‘standard’ Maldives voyages have now been supplemented with a slightly more ‘hardcore’ longer departure in November, which is also the peak month for birds and dragonflies moving through the islands on passage. Less time will be spent snorkelling and more on cetacean and seabird watching, with a strong emphasis on photography too. Full details here . Having pioneering whale and dolphin awareness in Sri Lanka, Chas continues to offer two itineraries on this paradise island. Trinco Blues based in the north east and Blues, Leopards and Elephants based in the south of the island.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Chas is now running his first cruises in Indonesia, sailing from Bali to the Komodo National Park and back. Whilst whales and dolphins will still be the main focus (especially the recently ‘split’ Eden’s Whale), there will be plenty of snorkelling, on some of the most pristine reefs, some birding, a chance of Whale Sharks, a good chance of Giant Mantas, not forgetting the world’s largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon. Demand has already been huge, in fact 2014 may already be full. We are also taking advance registrations for 2015.
